Also, it's not bad to let babies be around dog hair and other "germy" things; builds up their tolerance and immune system. I'm not saying to let the baby roll around in it...but it's not horrible for the baby to be exposed to it.Gabriellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01468686650130116067noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-311213234189753631.post-58843411542811756612008-08-14T11:08:00.000-05:002008-08-14T11:08:00.000-05:00This comment has been removed by the author.Gabriellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01468686650130116067noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-311213234189753631.post-37892244096687646622008-08-11T23:47:00.000-05:002008-08-11T23:47:00.000-05:00Being owned by cats, I have nothing to add.Other t...Being owned by cats, I have nothing to add.
Other than good luck....this is definitely a challenge!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06518711108525390571noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-311213234189753631.post-92184666866983492282008-08-11T20:05:00.000-05:002008-08-11T20:05:00.000-05:00boston terrier's are not outside dogs and are impo...boston terrier's are not outside dogs and are impossible to "make" outside dogs. :( i'm sorry. i can almost bet he won't sleep inside the dog house either, especially without something on top of the plastic.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-311213234189753631.post-48800634143121469072008-08-11T14:46:00.000-05:002008-08-11T14:46:00.000-05:00Oh boy! I'm sure this incident was the result of an upset stomach (which my dogs frequently have) and not purposeful bad behavior.

If his shedding bothers yall's allergies and such maybe he can spend *more* time outside, but not permanently live there. And I hate to tell you but he is not going to let you sleep at night if he's stuck outside.

He's been inside and spoiled for too long. They are sleeping there BECAUSE IT IS THE BEST PLACE THEY CAN FIND.

Dogs are no different, they can adapt no matter what age.....

That being said, I vote for outside during the day, kennel at night.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-311213234189753631.post-28058836293135615172008-08-11T13:52:00.000-05:002008-08-11T13:52:00.000-05:00how about the laundry room? with a doggy door? t...how about the laundry room? with a doggy door? that's a compromise, right? outside all day, laundry room at night?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13940368784052115215noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-311213234189753631.post-88716116726222899242008-08-11T13:47:00.000-05:002008-08-11T13:47:00.000-05:00I can't talk....my two dogs sleep right next to me...I can't talk....my two dogs sleep right next to me in our bedroom. Besides, my opinion of outside dogs run along the lines of "yard ornament".
Does he poop in his kennel often? The fact that he pooped and puked in there makes me think he had an upset stomach-not much he could to about that, right?
Also, to expect him to stay outside at night and not bark at every single noise is pretty unreasonable, imo.
I'd be careful putting a bed in his Dogloo, he'll likely tear it up, and that would only add to your frustration.

Poor Shiner.NicoleChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11997620053843716153noreply@blogger.com
