Sunday marks the first Rangers game of the season for my beau and I. I'm looking very forward to it, not only because I get Stoney Larue for background music, and not only because I get to see some of my favorite people but because it's baseball.
Before C & I started dating, I thought baseball was boring. "How can ANYONE stand to watch an ENTIRE game on tv?!!" "I only watch baseball if I'm there- and only sometimes then." Now, a year and a half in on the way to a lifetime, I am a baseball fan. I love spending an evening watching Rangers game on tv- I love clapping and cheering in the living room. I love yelling at the pitcher and saying, "Little Ian Kinsler" everytime he comes to bat. I love finding the game on XM while I'm driving and texting things like "Go Rangers!" to unassuming people. I am a fan. Never in a million years did I think I'd be saying these things, but it's crazy what you'll do for love.

I used to think baseball was boring. But once you start watching, you really start to understand the strategies and complexities behind the game.
